Board-Certified Physician Assistant. Aesthetic Medicine Provider. Educator. Founder of Elevera Academy and Aiken Medical Aesthetics.
Kristin's path to aesthetic medicine didn't begin in a medical school classroom. It began with a cosmetology license in 2008 and a deep, early love for the art of beauty — one that never left her even as her career evolved into something far more technical.
While pursuing her undergraduate studies in biology, Kristin continued to practice as a licensed cosmetologist, developing an understanding of beauty that was both artistic and scientific. In 2015, she graduated with her Master of Science in Physician Assistant from Augusta University — in the top 10% of her class.
What followed was years of professional experience across dermatology, emergency medicine, and plastic surgery. She trained under some of the most respected names in the field, dedicating hundreds of hours annually to advanced aesthetic education. She didn't just learn aesthetics. She mastered it.
In 2023, she founded Aiken Medical Aesthetics — voted Best of South Carolina in both 2024 and 2025. But something else was building alongside the practice. A quiet mission to change how this industry educates — both its clients and its clinicians. Elevera Academy is her answer.
"When clients are well-educated and providers are well-trained with excellence as the standard, treatments become safer, practices become more ethical, the industry becomes healthier, and the world becomes a more beautiful place for everyone involved."— Kristin Cadavos, PA-C · Founder, Elevera Academy
As Kristin advanced in the field of aesthetics, she recognized something that troubled her deeply. New injectors were struggling — not because they lacked talent or drive, but because the industry offered inconsistent education, limited mentorship, and a culture that often felt more competitive than collaborative.
At the same time, consumers were overwhelmed. Bombarded by social media trends, influencer recommendations, and marketing that prioritized persuasion over truth.
She believed both problems had the same solution: better education. Elevera Academy was built to bridge that gap — and to prove that when the industry does better, everyone wins.
Every client deserves clear, honest education — not a sales pitch. Informed clients make better decisions, have better outcomes, and build the kind of trust with their providers that lasts a lifetime.
Aesthetic medicine is a serious medical discipline. Every injector deserves access to rigorous, structured training — not gatekept knowledge or inconsistent mentorship. The bar should be high. For everyone.
An industry built on competition and exclusivity doesn't serve anyone well. Kristin envisions an aesthetics world defined by collaboration, transparency, and a shared commitment to doing right by every patient.
Outside the treatment room and the classroom, Kristin's greatest joy comes from her three children. The same values she brings to her practice — dedication, authenticity, and a relentless pursuit of excellence — are the ones she works to model for them every day. She believes that how you do anything is how you do everything. And that belief shows up in every lesson inside Elevera Academy.
Whether you're a bride preparing for your wedding day or a professional building your aesthetic career — Kristin built something for you.
